Comments Policies
  • Comments are appreciated. And so is good spelling. Keep comments brief, on-topic, and civil.
    • Feel free to ask questions. If there's a topic you'd like more information on, just ask.
    • Dialogue on important issues is healthy. I welcome differing opinions when offered in a respectful manner.
    • I pledge to treat others with respect. Although I have strong opinions about certain issues, I also acknowledge that there are other legitimate Christian positions related to creation. Agreement is not the goal; civility in Christian love is.
    • All comments will be moderated. I reserve the right to respectfully disagree or delete any comments I don't think are appropriate or necessary. I will not tolerate bullies, especially bullies who do it in the name of Jesus. Comments that are rude, condescending, disrespectful or unproductive will not be approved.
      • This blog is a benevolent dictatorship. The first amendment doesn't apply here. So please spare me your email complaints about how I'm not posting your comments. I'm real quick with the "Delete" key in such cases.
      • Spam, sales pitches, essays, manifestos and irrelevant comments will not be approved.
      • I allow anonymous comments if they follow the rules.
      • If a back-and-forth debate gets on my nerves, I reserve the right to end it or delete it entirely.
      • All e-mail I receive related to this blog is subject to publication on this blog.

        • The opinions expressed on this blog are my own and they do not necessarily represent those of my husband, my parents, or my employer. This is a personal web site done on my own time, without any formal connection whatsoever to my employer. I deeply respect all of my work colleagues. While we agree on all of the essentials of the Christian faith, I don't necessarily agree with them on every jot and tittle of their positions. So you will see some of those differences reflected here.
        • Although I try to be as fair and accurate as possible when I talk about other points of view, sometimes I make factual mistakes. When this happens, I will attempt to make appropriate corrections as soon as they are brought to my attention.
          • The author does not necessarily condone all of the content on sites that are linked from this blog. So you'll have be a grown up and use your own discretion.
