Plains Milky Way

This is a beautiful time lapse of the South Dakota skies in May. I think light pollution causes us city dwellers to miss out on a beautiful aspect of God's general revelation. "The glory of God," "the righteousness of God" and many other features of God's character are revealed through the cosmos. Do you want to hear the fullness of God's voice? Then read the Bible AND study His creation.

That is some amazing footage. The first time I noticed moving time-lapse footage was in the Planet Earth. Incredible technology that captures the incredible world God has made [smile].

This reminded me of another time lapse I saw recently - it's in Chile at the Very Large Telescope.

This is great. I've been trying to explain orbiting to my kids and this really gives a good sense of that. I can't wait to show it to them.
