Top Ten (or so) Misquoted Bible Verses, part 3

Kenneth Samples and I, along with Dr. Dave Rogstad, continue our series on the most commonly misquoted Bible verses. It was another great discussion.

Top Ten (or so) Misquoted Bible Verses, part 3

In this episode, we cover the following verses:

Mark 11:22-24
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

I John 2:27
"As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit‹just as it has taught you, remain in him.

Matt 7:1
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged."

Enjoy!

Is Colossians 3:19 on the list? I don't know of a single case when it wasn't misquoted as Ephesians 5:25-33, even when a preacher was supposed to be reading straight from the text.
