Great article in the current issue of Themelios summarizing B.B. Warfield's position on creation and evolution:

The author does a good job of correcting the error that Warfield promoted a modern view of theistic evolution. While theoretically open to "evolution" if the facts actually demonstrated the reality of this process, he puts certain limitations on it which would be objectionable to most theistic evolutionists today. Most notably, Warfield affirmed a historical Adam and believed that Adam was a special, miraculous creation of God.
