Bad Archaeology

Ever wonder how accurate those programs are on the History Channel about sensational archaeological discoveries? I sure do. And because I'm not an expert in this area (yet), I admit, I could be duped by bad "research." So, I am working hard to find reliable sources for these sorts of things.

Anyways, Todd Bolen (from the Master's College and Bibleplaces.com) has a great comment about crackpot archaeology on his blog, along with a link to an extended op-ed piece from the Boston Globe on the same theme.
